Selling Your Lake Nokomis Home

We finally found one! I was helping a good friend of mine buy a house in Lake Nokomis. We started looking a couple of months ago. We had offers on a few different places, but we keep getting out bid. The houses we were interested in were nice, and they were cheap. That is how the market is right now, there are a lot of deal. But last week we found a nice place on 45th Ave S. It was a foreclosure that was in really nice shape. It had new carpet, refinished hardwood floors and very clean. The basement needed a little work and it probably needs a few hundred dollars worth of plumbing work.

But he was a first time home buyer, got a low 6.5% interest rate and he didn’t have to put any money down. I am really happy for him and I think he made a good choice. The great thing about Lake Nokomis is it is close to the lake, Downtown Minneapolis, the Airport, the Mall of America, 35W, 62 and highway 77. It is close to everything, but it is affordable, clean and safe. There are a lot of great parks like Bossen Fields, and the lake Nokomis Golf Course. If your thinking about buying a house, really consider Lake Nokomis. I love it. I live in the area and I do business here. I think it is great.
