He sure did strike a nerve. Rick Santelli video rant is an internet phenomenon. What was his main point? Here is an example.   Say you’re playing football. Your team is losing 14-21, it’s the fourth quarter and there is 1:54 left to play. You’re on your own 10 yard line. You need to move the ball down field and score. Who do you want as your quarterback, Tom Brady, or Mitch Burger? Obviously, you pick Tom Brady. He knows how to win, score touchdowns, win playoff games, win Super Bowls, come from behind, and he has done it a lot. This is the same situation that is going on in the market right now. We are losing and you need to give money to somebody who knows how to earn wealth. So who do you give capital to, people who make bad decisions and not earn or to an entrepreneurs with a proven track record of creating cash, assets, and wealth? It is obvious; you give capital to the guy who knows how to produce wealth. Right now we are giving money to people who don’t know how to produce more of it. We are giving it to GM, Ford, Bank of America, and foreclosed $500,000 home owners with three baths and three car garages. How is this going to help?
