It is all about the internet. The biggest newspapers in the United States saw a 16% increase in usage of their websites. The New York Times, USA Today, and the Washington Post all saw huge increases of their websites by internet users. In addition, 75% of corporations surveyed by a large American marketing firm Hubspot, said that blogging is the most important social media form of marketing. These studies confirm what a lot of people already know, the newspaper is losing big time. The Star Tribune just filed for bankruptcy, I took my ad out of the Star Tribune because it was not getting me a good return.
