Floor Refinishing Minneapolis

by admin on January 9, 2009

We did it!  We finished the job.  One of the best feeling you get in business is when you finish a job and the customer is happy.  It is such a good feeling to get on a tough oak hardwood floor that is over 60-70 years old, has really thick poly on it and has some water damage. But after you get done sanding and sanding and sanding, the floor is cleaned up, buffed out, and ready for a nice coat of sanding sealer.  I’ve been in the hardwood floor refinishing business for a while now, I’ve seen a lot of floors.  I learned from my Dad that you just need to keep working until the floor looks good.  Sometimes people ask me,”how do you refinish a hardwood floor?”  I usually say, “it takes a lot of hardwork.”  Not that many people can do it.  It is dirty, loud, smelly, and very difficult to start a floor refinising company and then be successful at it, just like doing anything else.  But I like it.  I enjoy learning new techniques from “old tymers” and trying different stains after we sanded the floor.  You need a lot of equipment though, you need floor sanders, vacum, hand tools, buffers, a truck, and a lot of sand paper.  If you have a hardwood floor refinishing project in Minneapolis give me a call.  We can do it!!  Thanks a lot.
