Credit Crunch and Floor Sanding Bloomington MN

by admin on October 8, 2008

We are headed for a recession. What can you expect? The national economy has grown for 6 straight years. There is going to be inefficiency somewhere, and we just found out where: the mortgage and banking industry. Now, I know the economy has not grown evenly for everybody, some have gotten more rich, while other have gotten more poor, but this not a bad thing. It is not surprising these two industries are getting hit. For years interest rates have been very low and banks have been lending money to almost anybody with a pulse. But just because you have a pulse doesn’t mean you will make good decisions. Isn’t what this is all about, making good decisions? I think too many people made bad decisions. They bought stuff they couldn’t afford, they didn’t live below their means, and they spent money they didn’t have. We have all done it. It is a learning lesson that sometimes only comes from experience. I try my best on every hardwood floor I sand in Bloomington. Sometimes I learn a new technique, or try something different and I am better off for it and it improves my floor sanding. Sometimes I try something stupid and I learn that that was dumb, don’t do it again. If I didn’t try, then I would never learn and it would be harder to get better. In the end, the recession will come, it will go, but I think, we will learn from experience and be better for it. If you have hardwood floors in Bloomington, give me a call and I will give you a free estimate. Thanks a lot.
